Front Squat 1x5 increase weight to achieve new 1RM: 225 lbs

Regina & Travis weren't at the box this morning so our session was run by "C'mon Kyle". I was a little discombobulated by the lack of profanity and insults but was able to have some success none-the-less...

Let's talk "Annie". I did this back in October in 11:13. Today I knocked it out in 7:53. I am VERY pleased with this time. I have been doing "mini WODs" after the actual WODs of 25 double unders and 25 abmat sit-ups for 4 rounds. It really paid off today. I took 3 1/2 mins off my time since the last time I did "Annie" and came away without any ass hickeys so that's a bonus. I can string 10-15 doubles in a row now and that really helps my time. I hope we see some dubs in an Open workout.

For strength training we did Front Squats and for the first time I went over 200 lbs. 225 is a new PR for me and it felt pretty good. I attempted 235 but dropped it. That was a 25 lb jump for me but I'd like to get 250 by early summer. Gotta have goals and keep moving up....
