Every Friday we do olympic lifting practice. Some weeks we do heavy weights and shoot for a 1RM or new PRs. Other weeks, like this one, we work at 80% of our max which helps us with strength and technique. I need help with both. It's really not a successful lifting class for me unless Travis has given me the disapproving nod and told me my form looks like shit. (He's right by the way) Oly lifting is really difficult for because each move has several parts that all have to be perfect in order to be successful. It is a lot of muscle memory and apparently my muscles are dumb as hell. With all that said, I really enjoy it because it is a challenge and I get an excuse to buy to new shoes and wear knee socks.
