When I said I wanted to be a Greek God this isn't what I meant....

So I'm a little worried about Open WOD 12.3. They have programmed it as an AMRAP for 18 minutes of 15 Box Jumps, 12 Push Press, 9 Toes to Bar. I've been doing Box Jumps since day one of my Crossfit Journey without any thought that I could hurt myself. Now there are all these videos popping up and people talking about the potential for hurting your achilles tendon. Isn't that a little like talking about a no-hitter? Shut up already. If you don't talk about it, it won't happen. Plus I wear AWESOME knee socks and those prevent all kinds of things like injuries, cuts, dates, etc....

I am also a little worried about the push press. We did "Jack" two weeks ago and push presses at 115 lbs are a bit much for me. Anything overhead is tough for me but it's getting better. I'm just hoping it doesn't slow me down too much. I'm pretty good at Toes to Bar but I still anticipate hearing "No Rep" a few times. I'm wearing my extra large clown shoes to make it a little easier. I already use so much chalk on my hands that it looks like I've been giving hand jobs to clowns, so the shoes will complete the look.

My trainer Travis, currently sits at #2 on the leader board and did 14 rounds of this WOD so I am hoping to make him proud by doing at least 6-7. Ok, I'm really just hoping he won't visibly laugh which is basically the same thing in my mind.....
