I wonder if tomorrows WOD comes with an epidural


One of my favorite meals on training days is from Chilpotle. I like to get the chicken bowl with brown rice, black beans, corn salsa, green chili salsa, and guacamole. I had it for lunch today and with the way it made me feel, I am pretty sure I could qualify for maternity leave. That does not bode well for others sharing the WOD with me tomorrow. You have been warned. The upside is if you are doing the WOD close to me tomorrow, I promise to name the baby after you.....




Todays WOD was fun....

7 deadlifts [245#]
14 burpees
21 pull-ups
Time - 12:27

I don't know how that stacks up against everyone but it was pretty fast in the 6am class. I knew I could make up some time on the burpees & pull-ups because my cardio is pretty good but I hate deadlifts. I did learn today that I am gripping the bar too far apart which is causing me to lean forward and put strain on my back. My trainer pointed it out after the WOD by saying "Your grip is too f*cking wide. It's no wonder you suck at those." I didn't know if I should thank him for waiting until after the WOD was over to tell me or for the moral support. Either way he is right and it has been a pain (literally) for a while. I am hopeful that with a little work, I can correct it.
