Ch-ch-ch-changes....


So I am making some changes to "The JFWodfather". Just some formatting things, nothing special. You will all still get the same great sarcastic filled posts you have grown accustomed to so settle down people!

I got a little out of my normal routine and went to Oly lifting last night instead of the AM. There was nothing special about it but a few of us went out for beers and burgers afterward at the Bspot. If you haven't been to this Michael Symon owned burger joint you must go now. No, really. Log out and get your happy ass over there. It's totally worth the trip. I had a couple of Kentucky Bourbon Ales that were off the hook. The alcohol content was REALLY high and it kind of kicked my ass which is no shock since I am a total lightweight. I ordered the "Stripper" salad which is romaine, bacon, blue cheese, blue cheese dressing and a burger patty on top. I made it give me a lap dance. Freakin' good.

This morning I drug my dehydrated tush outta bed and went and did this little dandy WOD:

50 Walking lunges
40 Kettlebell swings [55#]
30 Pull-ups
20 Ring dips
10 Handstand Push-ups
20 Ring dips
30 Pull-ups
40 Kettlebell swings [55#]
50 Walking lunges
Time - 21:27

OMG this sucked monkey balls. My lungs were burning like a fat kids shorts after a bowl of chili. Yeah I'm gross. Deal with it. I thought I would catch my breath during the ring dips but no such luck. The transitions from pull-ups to ring dips to handstands was brutal. I swear I was basically doing singles and doubles of the handstands and ring dips on the way back up the ladder. It felt eternal and I am glad it's over. Now I plan to spend the rest of the day on the couch watching football because I love it and because I am pretty sure my legs and arms no longer work.
